AAIS provides a bookstore and telephone contact for Utah Al-Anon and Alateen. Call or drop in to purchase books, order books to be shipped to you, browse, or chat. All of the books listed on the World Service Organization (WSO) website (link below) can be purchased through the bookstore at the same price as on the website. We accept cash, checks, debit and credit cards.

AAIS bookstore telephone: (801) 262-9567. Call or text. Messages are returned. Please let us know any special instructions about calling or messaging you.

Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday 12 noon to 4 p.m.

Location: 5056 S 300 W (5056 S Commerce Blvd), Murray, Utah, The AAIS Bookstore is on the second floor of the Alano Club, operated by Alcoholics Anonymous (AA).

Ordering Literature from our office:

ORDERING IN THE OFFICE

  • Have a seat and let us know what you are looking for, we will assemble the order for you. We will no longer allow browsing, but we are happy to discuss the literature to help you select. 
  • We accept payment by card, check or cash.

ORDERING BY PHONE FOR MAILING

  • We are happy to package and mail literature within a week of ordering. If you call on the days that we have volunteers, we will mail it that day or the next. Your invoice will be inside for group orders. 
  • Individual orders are welcome. Our volunteer can manually input a card number to our square, please have that information ready (card acct number, expiration date, security number and zip code associated with that card). This applies when the volunteer is in the office.
  • Registered Utah Area Al-Anon Family groups may text an order. We will pack and post it as quickly as possible.

Help is here for the asking. Please take a moment to ask yourself these questions: “Are You Troubled By Someone’s Drinking?” or “Did You Grow Up With A Problem Drinker?” If you identify with some of these statements, it is important to know that help and hope for friends and families of alcoholics is just a phone call away.
