Utah Area Guidelines Procedures

The purpose of this guideline is to describe the procedure for maintaining the area's guidelines and give direction for maintenance of same. These guidelines are not intended to replace the information in the Al-Anon/Alateen Service Manual but to supplement the Service Manual.

AWSC Guideline

Describes responsibilities and procedures that apply to the Utah Area World Service Committee, which are not covered in the Service Manual. The primary purpose of the guideline is to provide a supplement to the manuals.

Utah Area Budget and Reimbursement Guidelines

Provides guidance in all area financial matters. The primary purpose of the Area treasury is to fund Al-Anon activities at the Area level. Describes the purpose and procedures of the area treasury.

Utah Area Guidelines for Alateen Safety

Provides the Utah Area Minimum Safety and Behavioral requirements for Al-Anon Members Involved in Alateen Service (AMIAS), Alateen Groups, Alateen members, and others in Alateen service. It defines Alateen safety requirements relating to conferences, conventions, and events. The AMIAS certification process is described, along with instructions for reporting safety concerns.

Utah Area Election Guidelines and Procedures

Describes eligibility and the procedures for the election of Utah Area Officers and Coordinators. This guideline is not intended to replace the information in the Al-Anon/Alateen Service Manual but to supplement the Service Manual.

Utah Area Guidelines for Resolving Dissatisfaction and Conflict

The purpose of this guideline is to give area members some reference and assistance in dealing with problems as they arise in the area.

Utah Area Guidelines for Hosting An Assembly

The purpose of this guideline is to provide information on how to host an area assembly.

Utah Area Archives Guidelines

The purpose of this guideline is to describe the procedures for establishing and maintaining Utah Area's archives.
