AREA Service Opportunities
UTAH AREA ALATEEN COORDINATOR
As we all know, alcoholism is a family disease, and Alateen meetings are vital for our young members in Utah. Panel 66 is looking for someone who shares the vision of a growing Alateen program in Utah with safe and supportive meetings for our kids. Your leadership is needed to ensure that our AMIAS (Al-Anon Members Involved in Alateen Service) have the training needed to keep our Alateen meetings running. With the support of the Area Alateen Process Person (AAPP), the Area Chair, Delegate, and the rest of the Area World Service Committee (AWSC), you can provide rewarding twelfth-step service that directly helps Utah teens cope with the effects of living with someone else’s alcoholism.

UTAH AREA AL-ANON/ALATEEN INFORMATION SERVICE (AAIS) Coordinator
Are you someone who loves our Al-Anon Conference Approved Literature (CAL)? Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back to the fellowship that has given you so much?
As the AAIS Coordinator, you will act as a vital bridge between the Utah Area World Service Committee (AWSC) and the Utah Area Al-Anon Information Service (AAIS). In this leadership role, you will also serve as the Chairperson of the AAIS Board. The AAIS is often the first point of contact with recovery for many newcomers. By managing our local Information Service and bookstore, the AAIS Board ensures that Al-Anon’s message of hope is always available when anyone reaches out for help.
